what to do
what does one do?
when the person they’ve loved the most
has decided to not love them back in return?
what do they do
when the one they love has moved on
has held another’s hand
has been someone else’s stronghold.
what does one do
in the morning, at work, at night
besides cry and pretend its alright?
what does one do when they are still in love with that person
despite all of these trivial matters?
what does one do?
tell me.
what do I do?
Stare at the dot for 30 seconds and the orange spot turns purple
unfair.
isn’t the world unfair.
you want what you cant have.
then when you have it, you might not even want it anymore.
when you lose it, you dwell over the lost for too long.
then when that opportunity seem to arise again, it gets snatched away.
forever.
this cycle.
will never stop.
until we find a way to learn how to appreciate and love.
correctly.
maybe i was wrong.
maybe you were wrong.
but that doesnt even matter now does it?
because the world is unfair.
might not give you what you deserve at that time.
but if you be patient
and strive for what means most to you.
you would’ve learned how to appreciate and love something.
that is when you’d get your reward.
the person of your dreams.
